The Freedom Ryder FRH-1 is a hand-propelled three-wheel cycle designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This handcycle features headset steering, and it has an adjustable two-piece frame that separates for transport or storage. The FRH-1 comes standard with Shimano LX Rapid-fire shifters mounted on T-handles, Shimano LX top derailleur, Shimano XT bottom derailleur, Shimano LX triple with ramped chainrings, FSA Euro bottom bracket set, and Shimano HG 93 nine-speed chain. The crank arm is available in widths of 22, 24, or 26 inches. A safety flag is also included. FRAME: Crank arms are made with light thin wall 4130 Chrome-Moly; and main frame is oval formed, heat treated with 6061 T-6 aluminum. SEAT: Custom contoured, aluminum two-piece seat with adjustable and padded back and bottom. The seat back angle reclines, and it can be moved forward and back on the base. CUSHION: Dual density foam bottom and back seat cushions. BRAKES: Avid disc brake and Cane Creek caliper brake. WHEELS: Mavic 650 alloy rear rims with Phil Wood hubs and Mavic 650 alloy front rim on XT disc brake hub. COLOR: Bright green, candy red, or silver. Other colors are available upon request. OPTIONS: Zipp Carbon Fiber 404 650 Wheels (set of three); Hed Carbon Fiber Wheels (set of three); Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires; Jointed Seat Tube; and Custom Memory Foam Seat Cushion.
