Wasp Ams

The WASP (Walkway Access for Special Purposes) AMS (Advanced Modular System) is a modular ramp system designed for use to enable wheelchair users to cross over protected electrical cables on the floor or ground indoors or outdoors. The system is compatible with a number of cable protector systems. It directly interfaces to the Yellow Jacket AMS, and with the use of a Yellow Jacket AMS Interconnect is compatible with the Yellow Jacket Classic (YJ5-125), Bumble Bee (BB5-125), and other 5 channel cable protector systems that use the dog bone connector. These 4.8-degree ramps allow access for wheelchairs, carts and dollies. The slip resistant surface provides traction for pedestrians, wheelchairs, and carts with small wheels. Tapered side ramps provides barrier-free access from a wide angle of approach. Multiple units can be connected together to form a ramp of any width or length. The ramps lock directly into the center section with Hipersnap locking devices. All connectors are enclosed to reduce trip hazards. The center sections open for top loading of cables, lines and hoses. Additional center sections can be added to accommodate any number of cables. The system has high contrast colors and each ramp displays the universal access symbol. Made from cast molded polyurethanes using the Castathane processl, the system is rugged enough to support a forklift, and is resistant to oil and solvents. OPTIONS: Available in extra heavy-duty Durathane or extreme heavy-duty Hiperthane. COLOR: Yellow with blue side ramps.
