The Magic-Force Door Operator is a powered door operator designed for use in making commercial and public buildings accessible to individuals with mobility disabilities. The unit includes Magic-Touch activation, which can open a door when the user gives it a slight touch or push. The unit can be installed in supermarkets, department stores, hospitals, airports, office buildings, public buildings, schools, and universities, and is field selectable for full energy applications (ANSI A156.10), heavy-duty low-energy applications (ANSI A156.19), and extreme ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) applications. The unit includes a Life Cycle Data recorder that records usage data to allow service and maintenance adapted to site specific needs. The unit is non-handed and powers doors up to 48 inches in panel width and up to 350 pounds in panel weight. It has an adjustable closing spring and operator speed control, and acts as a mechanical closer for manual operation in the event power is shut off. OPTIONS: Sentrex-3 active infrared safety system; sensor mat, push plate, radio, and motion sensor controls; surface mount header; and a fire door package.
