SensorHand Speed is a myoelectric prosthetic hand designed for use by individuals with upper extremity amputation. The hand can be opened and closed at speeds from 15 to 300 millimeters per second. To keep held objects from slipping, an AutoGrasp feature monitors the hand's grip force and changes the grip as needed. AutoGrasp can also be turned off. The hand comes with either a Lamination Ring or a Quick Disconnect Wrist for terminal device changes. A slip-clutch allows the user to release the hand quickly in an emergency. POWER: Uses 6 or 7.2 volts. DIMENSIONS: Opening width is 100 millimeters. Left and right, 7.25, 7.75, or 8.25 inches. WEIGHT: Inner hand is 460 grams.
