The Residential Verical Lift is a home elevator designed for use by wheelchair users and individuals with balance, lower extremity, or mobility disabilities. This elevator comes fully assembled and can be used indoors or outdoors. It can be disassembled into three components (the legs, the carrier, and the tower) for installation in a house with narrow doorways. It has an alternating current (AC) motor with a screw drive; keyed, constant pressure controls and emergency stop; weather-resistant switches and controls; top and bottom limit switches; an automatic folding ramp; and a non-skid platform with solid side walls, a safety plate, a solid handrail, and keyed controls. OPTIONS: Tall Tower adjacent access platform; left- or right-side upper landing gate; anchor bolt kit; top or bottom keyed call/send control. POWER: Uses household AC outlet. Direct current (DC) power and battery are optional. DIMENSIONS (LxW): Platform is 54 x 34 inches with 36 inch high side walls. The folding ramp is 16 inches long. CAPACITY: 750 pounds.
