Wounded Warriors gathered Dec. 6 at the Pine Tree Barn in Wooster to celebrate Christmas with a visit from Santa, gifts, dinner and the opportunity to cut down their own Christmas tree. They also had a family-oriented ugly sweater competition. There were 10 families from around the state (Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Wayne County). Wounded Warrior Project and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals partnered to make the special night happen with Pfizer employees from the Cleveland and Canton areas spearheading the nights events with a staff member from Wounded Warrior Project. Families throughout northern Ohio including the Cleveland area enjoyed time with other veteran families and their spouses and children as they got into the holiday spirit.
