The Crick USB Switch Interface is a computer switch adapter designed to make computers switch-operable for individuals with upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. This switch interface works with almost all switch accessible software. It plugs directly into the computer's USB port and connecting switches. It will instantly work with Clicker, Cloze Pro, and All My Words 2 (not included) with no set up required. For other switch accessible software, this adapter comes with USB Keys, a small software application which converts switch presses from the USB switch box into key presses or mouse clicks. Key presses supported are: Space, Return, Tab; number keys (1, 2, 3, 4); cursor keys (up, down, left, right); and mouse left-click and right-click. The software is easy to use and can be set up to start automatically whenever the computer is started up, while remembering the settings it was last using. This switch adapter comes with a USB switch box and USB Lead, a user manual, and a software CD (dual format Windows/Mac). COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Software requires Windows 98 or above (for IBM computer) or Mac OS 9 (for Macintosh computer).
