The Shopper Sprinter 2-Seater, model 889-4DXD, is a heavy-duty four-wheeled scooter designed for outdoor use by an individual with mobility or neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis and a companion. The unit includes dual headlights, turn signals, hazard lights, and a front wicker basket. FRAME (LxWxH): The overall dimensions are 55 x 37 x 40 inches. The ground clearance is 4 inches. The turning radius is 59 inches. The base is available in burgundy red and has an open design for extra leg room CONTROLS: Controls are mounted on an adjustable tiller. RWD: Rear-wheel drive with suspension. SEAT (WxDxH): Each seat is 22 x 18 x 23 to 27 inches. The back height is 19 inches. Both seats are padded, deluxecaptain's seats with headrests. The passenger seat is equipped with a safety bar. ARMRESTS: Each seat has a single outside armrest. BRAKES: Electronic brakes with an emergency handbrake. WHEELS: The two rear drive wheels have 12-inch tires. OPTIONS: Sun shade, rear view mirror, front mesh basket, rear wire basket, cane holder, walker holder, armrest carrying bag, and more. POWER: Uses 12-volt batteries and an external charger. SPEEDS: 7.5 miles per hour with a travel range of up to 28 miles per battery charge and a climbing angle of 8 degrees. CAPACITY: 500 pounds.
