The UniVox DLS-50 Domestic Loop System is a loop amplification system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. By enabling a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil (or t-coil) to function as an in-the-ear loudspeaker, this home loop system helps the user to hear television, radio, telephone, and voices despite ambient noise. The system has a small, thin amplifier, accompanied by a thin Loop Pad that slips under a chair, and/or a long wire loop that covers up to 600 square feet. The amplifier has volume control, a volume level indicator, and tone controls for increased clarity. Installation is accomplished by plugging the system in. The system can be moved to other places, including a car, and it has an optional power source and microphone. POWER: Uses an AC adapter with 32-foot cord. OPTIONS: Car Kit with round microphone and adapter; telephone connector for desk phone; lapel microphone with clip; flat microphone with hook and loop attachment;. DIMENSIONS: Amplifier height is 1 inch; wire loop is 100 foot long; loop pad measures (LxW) 15.75 x 15.75 inches. WARRANTY: 2 year Warranty.
