The Mercury AirChair is an emergency evacuation carrier and transfer wheelchair for onboard an airplane designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities, or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Made of high strength aluminum alloy, this folding frame is available in three widths - 14, 15 and 16 inches. Overall height is 34.1 inches for all width. Folded dimensions (HxWxD): 28.3 x 14.7 x 7.5 inches (14-inch width); 28.3 x 15.7 x 7.5 inches (15-inch width); 28.3 x 16.7 x 7.5 inches (16-inch width). Standard finish is powder coated blue; other color are available, and airline logos can be accommodated. SEAT: Seat width is 14, 15 or 16 inches. Seat height is 18.5 inches for all widths. A waist strap (attached to the seat back) is included. UPHOLSTERY: Fire retardent seat and back fabrics. ARMRESTS: Desk-length, removable armrests. BRAKES: Foot-operated brakes for all casters. CASTERS: 4 4-inch casters with rubber tires. FOOTRESTS: Folding foot bar. CAPACITY: 374 pounds. WEIGHT: 13.4 pounds (14-inch width); 13.6 pounds (15-inch width); or 13.9 pounds (16-inch width).
