Oh No Fractions! is a math tutorial program designed for use by students with cognitive disabilities. This application (or app) allows students to use an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to compare and explore fractions. The user swipes left or right to indicate if the fraction on the left is “less” or “greater” than the one on the right. The user can either peek at the visual solution before selecting his or her answer, or wait until later to prove it. The app also allows the user to tap above each fraction to check if it can be reduced. Statistics such as how many correct and wrong answers, how many times the user checked the visual solution and how many times the user tried to reduce a fraction are recorded in the app. Statistics can be reset and audio options can be controlled from the “Setup” menu.
