The SSTD Traditional System is a detectable warning surface designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This system provides a one piece, monolithic look for applications ranging from radius corners to a long stretch of domes running the length of a walkway. All seams are hidden because of the way the system is installed on-site. This flexible cement-based mat can cover many square feet of asphalt or concrete in one application. It is attached to the surface using the manufacturer's proprietary SSTD589 adhesive (not included). Additional on-site steps ensure that edges and seams are fully encapsulated and sealed. A second coat of the SSTD589 is rolled over the entire mat in preparation for the textured aggregate (SSTDTEXTURE-30) which is broadcast over the mat. Once dry, the color coat (SSTD100) and final clear sealer (SSTD1250) are applied to complete the system. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 10 x 2 or 10 x 3 feet. COLOR: Federal yellow, light gray, dark gray, blue, black, or colonial red.
