Master binaural FM receivers. First to offer both binaural behind-the- ear (BTE) hearing aid microphones and built-in body level environmental microphones, all in the same receiver. Environmental sounds are picked up where they are the most natural. Has smaller BTE casings, high flex cords and a choice of standard or power ear hooks. For maximum flexibility, it can also be used with other transducers like button earphones, headphones or bone conduction oscillators. When used with audio input hearing aids, its serves as a Personal FM receiver. The unit can also be used with the telecoil of a hearing aid by means of a neckloop. Range of the receiver makes it suitable to fit losses from mild to profound. Wide range adjustability includes tone, gain, output and FM enhancement. The new "charge guard" features assures that the unit charges properly due to automatic shut-off and overcharge protection circuitry. Specifications: HF Avg. SPL (range) is 111-137 db. HF Avg. full on gain (range) is 35-72 db. Frequency response is 220- 6450 Hz. Battery current drain is 5-11 mA. Length of battery operating time per charge is 9 to16 hours. Can be used anywhere, indoors or out, for distances up to 300 feet. Compatible with all other 32 channel systems. Model TDR-7 comes with 2 18 inch cords and TCN-270 earphones, 9 volt nicad battery, standard harness and belt clip. ($720).
