The Unik-1 Mono-Ski was designed for downhill sit-skiers, including paraplegics, low level injury quadriplegics, and lower extremity amputees. FRAME: The aluminum frame includes rear and side grab handles. Ski mounting brackets are adjustable to 4 positions. SEAT: The high-backed fiberglass bucket-style seat was designed to incorporate a Jay Protector cushion (optional). SUSPENSION: This mono-ski has an air/oil shock absorber suspension system that is adjustable for terrain and skier skill. The geometric configuration of the suspension system was designed to position the skier's weight more effectively. CHAIRLIFT COMPATIBILITY: The Unik-1 has a patented self-loading design. The load lever locks in both up and down positions. SAFETY FEATURES: Evacuation harness, adjustable chest strap, safety harness, and adjustable, padded knee and footrests with straps. WEIGHT: 29 pounds.
