The Phonic Ear PE 471 Binaural FM System is an FM amplification system designed for use in a classroom. The PE 471R Binaural Student Receiver has five frequency response selections and seven output levels for each ear. It allows direct switching of FM only, FM + Environmental Mic, and Environmental Mic only. Environmental microphones are non-directional. Receiver has low battery and 'no FM' indicator lights. Students can couple the receiver with the AT 595 Behind-the-Ear Earmic, Direct Audio Input, or Telecoil and Neckloop. The PE 471T has selection for uni-directional or omni-directional microphones. Audio-Input allows for connection to tape players and movies. Also features a 'talk-over' mode. This transmitter has a low battery indicator. Rechargeable/interchangeable batteries provide a maximum life of 20 hours of operation. Battery charger/organizer accommodates one to twelve units and has lights to confirm proper charge connections.
