UltraSilent is a telecommunication program system designed sized, scripted, and designed for installation to an organization's telephone switching system (PBX). The UltraSilent automatically interacts with text telephone (TT, TTY, or TDD) callers inthe same fashion as an interactive call processing system for the hearing caller, providing direct access to the same functionality of automated telephone systems as that enjoyed by the hearing. A text telephone caller "sees" the menu choices on the TT screen and makes selections via the touch tone telephone pad in the same way a hearing caller does in a call processing system. Similar to a voice (call processing system), UltraSilent is typically standardized, regardless of the organization. Applications such as Automated Attendant, Transaction Processing, Fax on Demand, and Interactive Voice Response, or in this case Interactive TDD Response, are tailored to the organization's specific requirements, and will "mirror" (in information content) an existing "voice" call processing system. The interactive script and prompts within the unit are formulated by a specially designed workstation. COMPATIBILITY: The UltraSilent can be integrated with all standard PBX's, Centrex, and 800 services, and interacts with the caller in "conversational Baudot", the standard and preferred method of communication by TT users.
