BRIEF: Workshop for Parents Concerned About Youth Mental Health Set for Chehalis Library

March 01--The Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library is set to host an all-day workshop for parents, teachers and other adults who are concerned about youth mental health.

Lindsay Owen, who is a certified youth mental health first aid instructor, will lead the workshop. Owen is also a therapist and school counselor.

The workshop is meant to coach adults on how to help someone between the ages of 12 and 18 who is experiencing mental health or addiction challenges. The workshop takes place on March 10. It begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m.
